The Boy and the Nettle

Translation:

A little boy was hurt and in much pain for having touched a nettle. He ran home to his mother and said that although he had been ever so gentle with the nettle the pain of its sting was very, very great. "It was just that which caused the nettle to sting you," the mother replied. The next time that you meddle with a nettle grasp it with a firm hand and you will find that it's as soft as silk. It will not hurt you then. Keep in mind that when you pursue a thing you must do it with a firm purpose."
